Tips for taking care of your live food zophobas morio:
Our zophobas morio come with our specially grown and produced compound feed thus you do not have have to worry about adequate nutrient. Our compound feed ensures that these zophobas morio live a maximum lifespan and that the nutritional values are transferred over to the reptile or amphibian feeding on them.
It is important to note that zophobas morio when left without food or are underfed will become cannibalistic. Furthermore, make sure to leave zophobas morio vegetables such as carrots that contain a lot of water. They need adequate hydration to stay alive. Leaving standing water, increases their risk of drowning along with mould growth.
Zophobas morio should be generally kept at temperatures around 18°C, so about room temperature. They should never be kept in the refrigerator as the cold will kill them. Furthermore, they should have bedding made from oats or bran in a plastic container with small holes for air rotation (but not big enough that they may escape).
Additionally, when storing your live food zophas morios, it is best to store them in a dark place. They do not like bright lights or sunshine.
