What types of Live food insects do we breed?

We breed the following live food insects for zoos, reptile & amphibian breeders, pet shops etc:

Jamaican Field crickets

Jamaican field crickets are one of the most popular live food options worldwide. One key factor that makes our Jamaican field crickets stand out is that they are fungi and parasite free. We provide our Jamaican filed crickets with our own compound feed that contain the proper nutrients to aid in growth and reproduction. We do not add an fillers or additives to our feed – we make sure that our feed is ecologically grown. The high nutritional value transfers over to the health of the predators that eat them. All our field crickets have a long life span due to proper care and feed.

Migratory Locusts

The migratory locust is one of the largest species of feed insects. A migratory locust can reach anywhere from 6 to 9 cm in length. During the summer time our migratory locusts are fed with fresh grass and herbs, meanwhile during the winter months they are fed with hay and herbs. All of our grass, hay and herbs are grown in our own farms to ensure they contain high nutritional value. All of our products are ecologically grown. Our migratory locusts live long lives and they contain high level of vitamins, which carriers over to the healthy development of animals that feed on them. Migratory Locusts can serve as a healthy snack for reptiles and amphibians such as bearded dragons, turtles, basilisks, tarantulas, spiny tailed monitors and many more.

Meal worm

The meal worm in many cases cannot serve as the main diet for your animals, they should be altered with other live food such as Jamaican field crickets, cockroaches or migratory locusts. Meal worms can be used as a tasty treat for your reptile or amphibian. Some reptiles or amphibians that enjoy this tasty snack include geckos, chameleons, water dragons, some tarantulas and many lizards. All of our meal worms are fed using our own feed compound. Our feed compound is enriched with fruits and vegetables. All the ingredients used in our feed compound is ecologically grown and sourced.

Zophobas Morio

The zophobas mario tends to be much bigger in size and accumulate a lot more fat than the mealworm. Our zophobas morios are fed with our own feed compound that is enriched with ecological fruits and vegetables, thus ensuring maximum nutritional value. Zophobas morios are the ideal food for most predatory arthropods. Spiders and scorpions can eat zophobas morios, however it is important to remember that in case of other reptiles and amphibians it should be used moderately. This should not be the may basis of your reptiles and amphibians diet.

Cockroaches

For our clients we breed two popular species of cockroach. The first popular species of cockroach is the Madagascar hissing cockroach, while the second species is the dubia roach. Cockroaches add great variety for vertebrates and invertebrates in their diet. Some vertebrates and invertebrates that enjoy cockroaches in their diet are: insects, arachnids, crustaceans and myriapoda. Furthermore, both breeds of cockroaches can be used as staple foods for most lizard species. All of our cockroaches are fed using our own feeding compound. Our feed compound is enriched with fruits and vegetables.
